Prof. Samir is a leading researcher in the areas of green and sustainable supply chains, public procurement, and reverse logistics. His work has about sixteen thousand citations in Google Scholar with a g-Index of 125,more than four thousand five hundred citations in Scopus with an H-Index of 19 and more than three thousand citations in Web of Science. He serves on the Editorial Board of several International Journals of repute and has been Chief Editor of Metamorphosis. Based on career-long impact, he figures among the top 2% scientists in the world in the database created by US-based Stanford University each year since the beginning.
