Prof. Pankaj Kumar has more than three decades of experience in management education and is currently professor with Human Resource Management Area at IIM Lucknow. He received his M.A., M. Phil., and Ph.D. degree in Applied & Organizational Psychology from University of Delhi. Prof. Kumar has been associated with IIHMR, Jaipur, JIM, Lucknow, IIM Ranchi and IIM Jammu as well. Prof. Kumar has extensive teaching, research, training and consulting experience. Prof. Kumar has taught various courses to Post Graduate and Doctoral students including Human Resource Management, Strategic HRM, Organizational Culture, Cross-Cultural Management & Performance Appraisal & Management. His customised training programmes are quite popular with the industry, especially programmes on self-management, performance management systems, organizational culture and leadership, coaching & mentoring, team building and related fields. He has published extensively in the international & national refereed category journals and presented papers in national and international peer reviewed conferences. Prof. Kumar has consulted with several organizations including USAID, NORAD, DANIDA and World Bank, GOI etc. and is widely travelled around the world. He has been Chairman Placement from 2005-08, Chairman MDP from 2009-11, Dean (Planning & Development) and also on Board of Governors (BOG) from 2013-2016 at IIML.
