A Professor in the Human Resource Management area at IIM Lucknow, Pushpendra has been in academia for more than two decades, having worked with the University of Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad, MDI Gurgaon, besides IIM Lucknow.
His research feature in Journals like Personnel Review, International Journal of Manpower, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Evidence-based HRM, VINE Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal, and International Journal of Educational Management, among others. His teaching interest lies in Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring, Individual and Group Behavior, Designing Organizational Structure and Human Resource Management.
He has engaged in consultancy assignments for organisations IRCTC, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Commerce and Industries (Govt. of India), Govt. of Uttar Pradesh, Govt. Of Uttarakhand, King George Medical University in the areas of Review of HRM, Training Need Analysis, Human Resource Planning, Process Review of the Programme and Socio-Economic Impact Evaluations. His executive education programme on Leadership Development and Negotiation & Persuasion has been highly subscribed for the last few years.
He has served on the Board of IIM Lucknow and is currently an external member of the academic committees of IRMA. He has also been the Placement Chair, Corporate Communication and Alumni Chair in the past.
