Dr. Himanshu Rathore is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management area at IIM Lucknow. Prior to joining IIM Lucknow, he was Assistant Professor at S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. He holds a doctoral degree in Operations Management from IIM Rohtak. His research interests lie in the domain of mathematical modelling, combinatorial optimisation, algorithms, metaheuristics, sustainability, innovations, mechanism design, revenue management, game theory and networks. His work examines the economic viability and implications of an environmentally efficient and socially sustainable aviation sector. He has authored research articles in reputed academic journals and has presented his works in leading international conferences. He has conducted management development programmes in project risk and project finance for the civil servants of Haryana public service commission.
He is a lean six sigma green belt certified an industrial engineer by background and has about 4 years of industry experience in the roles of project management and planning, procurement and condition monitoring.
