Dr. Prakash Attili holds a Ph.D. in the Information Systems (IS) area from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras. He won the Best Doctoral Student Award (2017) from the Association of Information Systems (AIS), USA. He pursued his master’s degree from IIT Bombay, specializing in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Andhra University (University First, Gold Medal).
He has more than 17 years of extensive experience in IT Service Delivery and Corporate Training. This includes 6 years of client-facing roles in USA, A decade of management experience in driving global, large-scale IT projects. He is also an Agile Coach and Certified Scrum Master and has acted as Strategic Advisory for multiple teams. He has been part of leadership teams in his earlier organization and has won the prestigious Award of Excellence as Most Valuable Contributor in 2016 and 2018.
He has published in various refereed journals and conferences including, Communications of the Association for Information Systems (CAIS), Information Systems Frontiers (ISF), Americas Conference on Information Systems (AMCIS), Pre-International Conference On Information Systems (ICIS) workshops, etc. He has delivered invited talks, keynote speeches and presented research work at prestigious industry forums like CII, ISACA, DSCI, EFY, and SPIN. He is a Member of AIS, ISACA and DSCI. Currently serving as Treasurer (Executive Committee) of AIS India Chapter to support academic and professional activities of the Information Systems community in India.
He actively contributed as an industry expert to the AICTE review committee (headed by MHRD), to restructure and strengthen the technical education in India. As a member of the Board of Studies / Industry Expert has contributed to the development of course curriculum for various universities, including SRM University, Vellore Institute of Technology, Veltech University, B. S. Abdur Rahman University, and M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women. He actively participated in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities of Infosys like Rural Reach Program (RRP) - to create awareness of Computers among rural school children and Catch Them Young (CTY) to train high school students in the power of Information Technology.
